Yeshua

I look all around but can see no one. Will he really come? Then, off in the distance, a man approaches quickly in long strides, with urgency and excitement, down towards the shore. Tall and slender, wearing a white robe, he reaches down and removes it from below, in one motion, overhead. I cannot see his face. He sits down in the sand behind me and lifts me into his arms. He wraps them around me and holds me tight, wiping the water from my face. He says, "Beautiful child, how did this happen?" Gabriel adds, "We thought that you would be safe, then something changed. People always have free will, and mostly that. Usually, we can only make very small changes over long periods of time. But you will be the exception."

Then the male, softer, with joy "I've never had a child before." Announcing, "I have chosen a son! So I am your father now and we here will be your family. They might not like that... because I am a Jew, and they are Jews, at least she is anyway. pauses I know they don't talk about that. That means you are one too... Obey your parents. I know that you do. I have seen that but it needs to be said. I am Yeshua. Like yes. Say yes. Yeshua". I repeat after him. "You don’t know that name, but they talk about me in church, they call me 'The Father'. But you can call me 'Father'... Have you heard them talk about me?" Then teasingly, "Do you listen in church? I’m sure that you do. Some people don’t listen in church and that’s OK, as long as they are there. That’s what is important. You will be raised in my church, the Christian church."

"Yeshua" is the Aramaic name of Christ.
